The FeeComputer is a high-end extension to the familiar and versatile Cashier Terminal PH/PX. Utilizing a PC as a platform it provides a graphical user interface (GUI), but uses the same proven menu structure like the standard Cashier Terminal PH/PX.
The new FeeComputer is the ideal solution in combination with the ZMS Management System, combining a powerful hardware and software package in a single workplace.
Besides being an effective cashier terminal, the FeeComputer is also a powerful encoding and selling station. It is also an ideal platform for hosting complimentary third party solutions that run under Windows 2000 or XP. Or you simply get the most out of your workspace and utilize it as a conventional PC, running e.g. Microsoft Office applications in addition to the FeeComputer functionality.
The FeeComputer works fully autonomously, or as part of a Zeag system network. It is used in the pedestrian area or at the car park exit, where it can control a parking barrier. The FeeComputer can serve one or more car parks with any desired rate structure. High-end components and the simple user interface guarantee dependable operation. A variety of programming facilities is provided in addition to the normal cash functions. Depending on the configuration, user payment habits and cashier's dexterity, the capacity of the FeeComputer is up to 250 payments per hour. UCD Write/Read Unit
The Zeag proprietary write/read unit UCD has been specially developed for parking applications. The device guarantees smooth processing of all data mediums from a paper ticket to an ISO standard plastic card. Advanced thermal printing technology is used for clear text printing. Thanks to optimized design and the small number of mechanical parts, the device works reliably and requires practically no maintenance.
Security
The coded information is stored repeatedly on the data medium. Segmental evaluation of the data blocks and the error correction logic guarantee high operational security. Tickets and cards with false or insufficient data are rejected. The reason for rejection is displayed. Tickets issued to owners of rented space are specially screened for fraudulent use.
